System Requirements:

- Windows/Linux operating system

- Minimum PHP 4 installed

- MySQL Server installed

Prepare the script for installation:

• After you have retrieved the script from one of our representatives you will have to unzip the files. You can rename the folder name to suit your needs.
• Upload all the files to your server keeping the folder structure.
• Set 777 (Read/Write/Modify) permissions to the “config” folder

Installation:

• Run the file start.php to begin the install process ( http://yourdomainname.com/thescriptfolder/start.php )

• * Database Host – The server IP or domain name where the MySQL server is installed
• * Database Name – The database name where the script will store the information on. Database must be blank without any tables.
• * Database Username – Username assigned to the MySQL database
• * Database Password – Password to the above username
• * Confirm Password – Confirm the above password
• * Administrator Username – Choose a username here that will be used to manage the administration section of the script
• * Administrator Password – Password for the username above
• * Confirm Password – Confirm the above password
• * Administrator Email – Enter here an e-mail address where the reciprocal and Page Rank reports will be sent to
• * Minimum Page Rank Required – The minimum Page Rank Required. Lower PR websites will be rejected.
• * Reciprocal Link Required – Enter here the required reciprocal link that the webmasters will have to add on their website
• Anchor text for the reciprocal link – Choose multiple Anchor text here that webmaster will have to set on the reciprocal link to your website. Adding multiple Anchor Text (one per line) will give webmasters the ability to choose one that will best suit their link page
• List of Rules – A list of rules (coma delimited) that will warn the webmasters. They will be displayed in the following content. “Please don’t add pages that contain: YOUR LIST OF RULES HERE”

The last step will be to add Cron Job (or Scheduled Tasks in Windows Environments) for the following files: job_checkreciprocal.php and job_checkrank.php. Set the scripts to run daily at any hour you like.

job_checkreciprocal.php – Will check all the links that are currently in the database and it will add to the “Black List” the websites that are not reciprocal anymore and are not set to “Reciprocal not required”. It will also send an e-mail to the “admin e-mail” to inform the owner of the changes.

job_checkrank.php – Will check the PR of the links from the database.
